Our story begins the week before the world shutdown in March 2020. At the time, we were both attending Charleston Southern University. While at a party, Cameron walked up to me and introduced himself. I wouldn’t say love at first sight, but we became great friends. Through the pandemic, we spent lots of time getting to know one another.

By May of 2020, Cameron graduated and transferred to the University of North Florida to pursue a Master’s of Business and continue playing baseball. Less than three days after Cameron left Charleston, I realized even though he had already declared his feelings for me, I really cared for him as well. So, the three year long distance relationship began. Miles of driving with endless hours of thinking and talking allowed us to test our relationship. We spent a lot of time visiting together, spending time with our family and friends, and realized we had something very promising.
